Wine makes us princes, love makes us beggars. The food was pretty great and the ambiance was nice. I am so glad my friend recommended Bell, Book and Candle for Sunday brunch. This is my second time having visited the establishment and the staff is always warm, accommodating, gracious and amazing.

It is the kind of slightly uneven, dumbbell-shaped flat roof that you find on top of a lot of New York tenement buildings. Even before the doors opened, TV crews and a reporter for the New York Times trekked up to the roof to visit the futuristic-looking garden, sample the food and report on the phenomenon.

It's got a spacious, inviting bar to go along with multiple well-appointed dining rooms.

Visited here with a group of friends on our trip to New York. The outside is very quirky and cute, it's welcomed with steep steps into a cellar type room. The bar is also very sweet, looks lovely tables are cute. We were lead to the 'booth' area of the restaurant which catered for bigger tables.
